GREAT NEWS FOR
BANGOR-ON-DEE!
£43,638.34 Awarded for Village Improvements
Bangor-on-Dee Community Council has been awarded £43,638.34 from the Pride in Place Impact Fund, backed by the UK Government and administered by Wrexham County Borough Council.
This funding follows the community consultation held earlier this year, where more than 160 residents shared their views on the improvements they wanted to see in the village.
The funding will deliver:
New planters at the entrances to the village
Two picnic tables at the sports field
A new defibrillator and cabinet to replace the existing unit outside the Village Hall
Improved street lighting in three locations around the village
A new vehicle-activated speed sign to replace the non-working sign on Station Road
Improvements to the Multi-Use Games Area (MUGA) at the sports field
A new shelter in Friars Field
Thank you to everyone who took part in the consultation.
Your feedback has helped secure investment that will make a real difference to our community.
