Property Insurance Issues

Are you experiencing difficulties getting home insurance because you live on a flood plain? Floodre is a joint venture between the Government and insurers to ensure that householders can buy reasonably priced home insurance.

Floodre does not deal directly with householders - the insurers themselves liaise with Floodre to cover the flood risk element of your home insurance. However, the Floodre website is well worth visiting - it's informative and easy access.

Dog Fouling

Dogs - fouling throughout the village of Bangor-on-Dee is a problem. Dogs are welcome but please remember this is an agricultural area and a Village we treasure so keep them on a lead and most important of all clean up after them. Thank you.

It should be noted that Public Protection Officers patrol the Village, and fines have been issued when it has been witnessed that dog fouling is not cleared away.
