Befriending Project

The Centre has been given funds off The Big Lottery Fund to start a Befriending Project. The service is free to individuals over 50 years of age and who live in the rural Maelor area. The aim of the project is to engage individuals who may feel lonely and isolated, and support them in accessing a wider social network.

 The Centre also runs a Meals on Wheels Service on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Cost - £6 for a main meal and pudding.

Presbyterian Church

No permanent minister yet. Any enquires about the Church, please contact Mr Glyn Hughes tel. 780337. Sunday Services at 6.30pm. A successful May Fair was held on Saturday 14th May in the Chapel. Coffee Mornings held every Thursday 10 to 11.15am. All welcome.

Young Wives Group

‘Young Wives’ normally meet on the fourth Tuesday evening each month at 8.00pm. No meeting August.

 

Meetings can be talks in the village Hall, given by speakers from a variety of backgrounds; social evenings; meals out and visits to places of interest.
